Rabbit Harvest

 Hummingbird Springs Farm on June 6, 2026 at 8:00 am


Mr. Mwenja from Haven Honey Farm will be leading us in a workshop on how to ethically harvest and process farm raised meat rabbits. 

We will learn how to process the rabbits and honor their life by using every part of them, including how to process their hides and fur. We will also teach about raising and breeding meat rabbits for subsistence farming. 

This workshop is free of charge and sponsored by Women's Earth and Climate Action Network in co

This exhibition explores the cultural meaning of Louisiana medicinal plants and how historically based understandings of them are evolving under the threat of climate change and land loss. Guest curators Rachel Breunlin and Monique Verdin are collaborating with herbalists, artists, gardeners, and scholars to place into context stories of historical and contemporary gardens and natural environments.
